Chisa was owned by Hugh Masekela. The 8000 series was distributed by Motown Records and in operation between 1969-1971. Divinity was Motown’s gospel label. Berry Gordy started Divinity late 1961. Only four singles were released. In the summer of 1963 the label was closed down.

Ecology was distributed by Motown Records. The label was owned by Sammy Davis, Jr and Berry Gordy. Gaiee was a New York label distributed by Motown. Only one record released on label. Gordy releases April 1962 – December 1970.
